Educational Background: Dr. Weaver received his undergraduate degree from Jacksonville University. He received his DDS from Emory University School of Dentistry in Atlanta, Georgia. After practicing general dentistry on an aircraft carrier in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Weaver attended Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry where he received his certificate in Orthodontics as well as being awarded the degree of Master of Science in Dentistry.
Professional Affiliations: Dr. Weaver is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the North Shore District Dental Society. He has been a past program chairman as wall as Secretary for the North Shore District for three years. Dr. Weaver is also an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists and the Mass. Association of Orthodontists.
Local Organization: Dr. Weaver is very involved in local organizations and projects. For many years he chaired the town's Forth of July Committee. He is a past member and president of SUCCESS, the Swampscott local education foundation. Dr. Weaver is also a long-time active member of the Swampscott Rotary Club and has served as Secretary and as Treasurer. He is currently serving as President.
Personal: Dr. Weaver lives in Swampscott with his wife, Casey. He is the father of two daughters and a son, all of whom live in the Cambridge/Somerville area. Buck enjoys running, traveling, boating and scuba diving.
